Unity Hall Hotel | Balmain, NSW (Stage 1)D&C Catering completed the redesign and fit-out of the first-floor kitchen and bar at the historic Unity Hall Hotel in Balmain.
Working closely with the client, our team delivered a full design and supply package, transforming the space into a refined and highly functional hospitality environment while respecting the character of this iconic venue.
The scope included:
• Full commercial kitchen and bar design
• Workflow consultation and operational planning
• Supply of commercial hospitality equipment
• Custom stainless steel fabrication including beer and cocktail stations
• Custom laser-cut beer drip trays featuring the venue’s logo
• Eighteen custom-made brass beer fonts
• A bespoke brass “hockey-style” font designed as a water station
This installation forms Stage One of the venue’s redevelopment, located on the first level of the hotel. The space has been completely reimagined from its previous layout to create a modern hospitality environment designed for both efficiency and service.
Established around 1846, the Unity Hall Hotel is a significant Inner West landmark and is widely recognised as the birthplace of the Australian Labor Party, where the Labor Electoral League was formed in 1891.
